Diwali
which is the festival of lights… It’s a Hindu festival…
Diwali
preparation starts a week before and its nothing but the Narkasur which is made
on this special occasion... Narkasura the demon, are made and burnt. Narkasur is made of dry grass, paper,
crackers etc. different people make it in different ways ..
Some are huge while
some are very small... and it’s very enjoyable time because that night everyone
goes to see this narkasurs ... and even there are competitions ... All friends
specially, get together and roam.... it’s not only the narkasur but also loud
music on roadside and people dancing very much enjoyable to see… 
On
the day of Diwali narkasur is burnt into ashes … people come home take bath and
start preparing”Faav“ which is the sweet.. And then the houses are decorated
with lights... the houses are being lit up by “paantis” and “aakashdiwas” The night of Diwali is also with millions of
flickering candles and an explosion of fireworks and fire crackers, so as it is
known as the Festival of Lights..
Every
day the houses are being lit up with lights till the day of “Tulsi lagan” (i.e.
wedding of Tulsi) its celebrated at night time... people from the villages get
together and visit each other’s houses for the wedding of tulsi…
Diwali
is the festival which everyone likes and waits for … we enjoy a lot …
